A free newsletter with the marketing ideas you need

The best marketing ideas come from marketers who live it.

That’s what this newsletter delivers.

The Marketing Millennials is a look inside what’s working right now for other marketers. No theory. No fluff. Just real insights and ideas you can actually use—from marketers who’ve been there, done that, and are sharing the playbook.

Every newsletter is written by Daniel Murray, a marketer obsessed with what goes into great marketing. Expect fresh takes, hot topics, and the kind of stuff you’ll want to steal for your next campaign.

Because marketing shouldn’t feel like guesswork. And you shouldn’t have to dig for the good stuff.

I’ve heard on TikTok and Threads that readers are getting more interested in reading historical romance! Historical romance is my favorite genre, so there’s no way for me to recommend all of the incredible work available in a short newsletter. So instead, I’m going to share five historical romance titles that anyone trying the genre for the first time will love.

I’m also actively looking to schedule some free cross-promotions as we close out 2025 and move into the new year! Please feel free to respond to this email if you’re interested!

Historical Romance Recommendations

The Beast of Beswick

Nathaniel is a snarky duke who is recovering from the trauma of war. Astrid will do anything to keep her little sister safe from a scoundrel and proposes marriage to the man known as the Beast of Beswick.

Dreaming of You

The main character, Derek Craven, is so beloved by romance readers that he has his own day. Derek’s so selfish that he turns away from Sara while she stands in a rookery she obviously doesn’t belong in. He falls so hard that he starts carrying her glasses around.

Indigo

This is required reading for anyone who reads historical romance. Hester escaped slavery and now helps others through the Underground railroad. She must hide a rude and arrogant man in her cellar who falls hard for her.

The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics

Catherine wants to finish her husband’s scientific legacy and hires a young woman to work on translating a French astronomy textbook. This is a cute slow burn!

The Duke Who Didn’t

Chloe Fong has no time for nonsense and tells her first love, Jeremy Wentworth, to get serious. Jeremy tries but decides he’d rather convince Chloe to love his mischievousness!
